What makes TownHall different from other restaurants?

TownHall is a health-focused restaurant with an unusually strict sourcing standard: 100% non-GMO, organic produce and ingredients, zero industrial seed oils, no refined sugar, grass-fed and grass-finished meats, pasture-raised poultry, wild-caught seafood, and lab-tested coffee. We hold the same standard at both our Cleveland (Ohio City) and Columbus (Short North) locations.

Does TownHall use seed oils?

No. TownHall is a seed-oil-free kitchen — we never cook with industrial seed oils like canola, soybean, corn, sunflower, or safflower. Every dish is cooked in grass-fed beef tallow, extra-virgin olive oil, and avocado oil. Read more about why we cook in beef tallow.

TownHall has two Ohio locations: TownHall Ohio City at 1909 W 25th St, Cleveland, OH 44113, and TownHall Short North at 792 N High St, Columbus, OH 43215.

Is TownHall's food organic and non-GMO?

Yes. We prioritize organic produce and organic ingredients wherever we can source them, and our menu is built around 100% non-GMO ingredients.

Does TownHall have gluten-free, keto, paleo, and vegan options?

What oils and fats does TownHall cook with?

TownHall cooks with grass-fed and grass-finished beef tallow, extra-virgin olive oil, and avocado oil, and uses grass-fed butter. We never use industrial seed oils.

Does TownHall use refined sugar?

No. TownHall builds its menu without refined sugar. When a dish or drink needs sweetness, we use whole-food, non-refined alternatives instead of white sugar or high-fructose corn syrup.
